cross two narrow and crumbling bridges
they'll hold upturn left into the weeds
the road is there
directions
for me to get
from my house
to yours
directions
for me to navigate
what little is left
of your life
a watering hole in mongolia
where the last przewalski's
horses were seen in the wild

"Over the river and through the woods," eh? Just a little longer yet?
I liked the opening two paragraphs, and liked how they paired against the closing line. You evoked what you meant to, I think. Repeating "directions" gave it, I thought, the rhythm of song lyrics. (For better or worse.)
K (rqvjr --is that a big anagram?)
thanks.
i was wondering why "over the bridges and into the weeds" popped into my head as i was driving along [besides the fact that that truly is what you have to do to get to the house in question].
oh, almost forgot ... i'ma always happy to evoke song lyrics, just so long as it's not sing-songy!
